Introducing The Custom Shop, the new name for North West Dubs.
The past year has been a tumultuous rollercoaster ride that nobody could have predicted and, like lots of people, all our team have been reflecting on who we are, what we do, and where we see our future. This process resulted in the decision to expand our camper conversion business into new areas, so we can continue to create stunning campervans while pushing ahead on new adventures. We call it The Custom Shop.
The decision to move our business forward and become The Custom Shop is a reflection of our values and what we want to achieve. We have nothing but love for North West Dubs, and are proud to have established ourselves and been such a key part of the camper scene in Liverpool and the surrounding region. It is this success that gave us the confidence to follow our ambitions into new areas, whilst continuing to offer the unforgettable conversions that made our name.
So, what is The Custom Shop?
Alongside our core business we will also be creating and curating a unique range of camping and outdoor goods for sale in our incredible new store adjoining the showroom. After years spent in muddy campsites, on long mountain trails, and sheltering from storms inside our campers, we like to think we know a thing or two about what you need on your adventures! The Custom Shop will be retailing unmissable gear from our favourite brands alongside developing our own product lines to make sure you can head out on your next expedition in style and comfort.
Another key part of our expansion is the development of our on-site film studio and design suite. Ben has a background in professional videography, and 2020 has definitely been the year where we learned the real value of video, from our favourite lockdown YouTubers to Netflix and Prime Video hits that have had to make up for a night out! The Custom Shop will be releasing ultra-high-quality reviews, interviews and previews of our vehicles, stock and adventures so that everyone can see what we are getting up to.
Why did you change the name?
We are proud of our roots as the best custom conversion company out there, and our success has enabled us to expand into new areas such as outdoors, adventure goods and camping supply. We wanted a new name that reflects our broader offering.
Rest assured that we are still committed to building unforgettable campers that turn heads on the road and trail, but this will now form part of a more comprehensive adventure supply offering. Everyone at the business is passionate about making the most of the great outdoors, and this energy has informed our decision to get involved in this dynamic and inspiring industry, alongside creating more digital content using our creative expertise.
Is there a new manager or team?
The Custom Shop incorporates all the winning elements of North West Dubs: the same team, based at the same HQ in Liverpool, and under the leadership of founder and creative director Ben Morgan. We are quickly expanding our team, and we look to work with new collaborators on upcoming projects.
All the team would like to take this opportunity to thank our families, friends and customers that have put us in a position to move forward on this new adventure, and we are looking forward to sharing news and updates about the progress of The Custom Shop in the near future!
